Great news! Hosts are not charged a fee for listing their properties, and we do not impose any charges for money transfers either. Our goal is to maximize your profits. Celtic Retreats charges a single booking fee for each reservation your property secures, typically amounting to 14%. All payments are made securely with Stripe to an account of your choice. We pay the transfer fee too from Stripe which is typically 3.9% to ensure your business remains competitive.
Once your reservation is confirmed, the price breakdown in the Host reservation details and the booking confirmation email will list all applicable fees, allowing you to clearly see:
- Fees and taxes collected by Celtic Retreats
- Any optional fees you charge (like a cleaning fee)
- The total price your guests will pay
- The payout you’ll receive
This ensures that you won’t need to look up the total price when responding to guests’ inquiries or adjusting bookings. Understanding what your guests are paying simplifies the management of your pricing strategy, as well as handling refunds, cancellations, and reservation requests.
